Imagine That.

So I went to the doctor this morning before work.

He was really nice. He said he enjoyed me coming in because we talked about the original Star Trek, Rocky, The A-Team, X-Men, and other sci-fi and older shows. He said he never gets to talk about that stuff much, and especially not with 20 year-olds!

Well, he gave me medicine, and told me not to go to work today or tomorrow. So I called in as soon as I was in my car, an hour and a half before my shift. They didn’t sound happy that I wouldn’t be coming in. I know they’re short-handed, ALL THE TIME, but would you really want someone sick and contagious coming in to work with little kids? I mean, I would have come in if he said I was good to go, but I’m just following doctor’s orders.

I guess I’ll have to apologize a lot on Monday. :(

I laughed too! It always cracks me up how he always acts so big and bad, but when Thor comes after him, and in this case, Odin, Loki gets legit scared. Not so tough anymore, are you Loki? Anyway, did you enjoy it?

I don’t know if I should call into work.

I mean, I have a fever and I work with kids. That’s supposed to be a no-no, right? Going into work with kids when you’re sick? Well, I’ve only been working there almost 2 weeks now, and I don’t want to call in. I feel like I could get through the day. It wouldn’t be enjoyable, but I think I could manage.

I don’t know what to do.

Yeah, that’s the bad part about hanging around lots of little kids for a long time. (Well, one of the bad parts…)

Aside from being sick, how are you?

I love some of the kids, but there are two that make my life miserable.

I’m tired. I get to be a caretaker of at least 5 12-18 month-olds and a janitor for 6 and a half hours every day. We don’t have cleaning staff, so we do it all ourselves. Anyway, enough of me complaining. How are you?

I’ll reply tomorrow. I’m going to sign off and head to bed. I have another full day ahead of me tomorrow!

Finished watching the Avengers cartoon.

Man, I’m sad it’s over. I was just waiting for that episode where they find out Loki wasbehind everything.When I finally got to it, it was great. I loved it. And Loki never fails to disappoint.

During the part where Thor told Loki that he couldn’t take the Odin Force and rule all nine realms, I couldn’t help but say, “Don’t you know? Loki does what he wants!”

And then when the Avengers were facing down Loki, and Odin showed up, the look on Loki’s face. It was like, “Oh, man, you’re being all big and tough and then your daddy shows up and sets you straight.” It was funny, but I felt sorry for him. Especially when he got exiled again.

After 4 days of working at a new daycare, I have a sinus infection.
